I would have loved to have been the Wii Fit girl. Such a simple idea and SO effective.

However, I would’ve needed at least 6 months of non-stop Wii Fit (& gym) activity before my thighs could be shown on YouTube!

DNF had a very troubled development. If I recall correctly, one of the lead designers died during that period.

While 3D Realms took far too long, I am going to miss them. DNF also created an awesome Internet meme.

I think you’re right about younger people embracing Facebook and MySpace more easily than Twitter. I think that’s because more people of a certain age and younger think more in visual terms rather than verbally. it’s easier to come up with an ironic or personal photo than pour your heart out in a post (or even say in a short snippet what’s on your mind).
